Info

The increase was planned to be carried out not at a time, but gradually, but at such a pace as to achieve the goals set by 2018. The crisis that began in 2014 resulted in a massive budget deficit and the impossibility of even a small increase in wages for all state employees without exception.

Attention

But the program has not been curtailed, the presidential decree cannot be canceled, its implementation allegedly continues. Although, of course, for the remaining year of salaries for teachers from 10-12 thousand.

up to 30-36 thousand rubles. they will not raise it, because the state budget does not have enough funds for this.

Teacher salaries in 2018: should we expect an increase?

What determines the salary of a teacher in a school?

  1. From experience - the longer a person works, the more he gets.
  2. From the region - in the central region or regions with a harsh climate, teachers receive more than in the southern and northwestern federal districts.
  3. From classroom management.
  4. From timely professional development.

The salary of a teacher consists of 4 components:

  • basic (lessons, extra classes, checking notebooks, etc.),
  • stimulating (for the use of new teaching methods and high student performance),
  • compensatory (for work in special conditions, for example, with chemicals or correction class)
  • and premium.

But over the past few years, no matter how much the workload on teachers has increased, the salary has remained virtually unchanged.

Modernization Russian system education, which led to a change in the procedure for paying financial remuneration for teaching work, remains one of the key vectors public policy. AT last years accrual school teacher salaries is carried out according to new algorithms, following which contributes to:

  • rationalization of OS expenses;
  • the formation of motivational messages among employees, expressed in monetary terms;
  • increasing the prestige of pedagogical work.

Tariffication of school teachers in 2019

For many years the work of teachers general education schools paid on the basis of the hourly rate system laid down in Soviet time when the normalized part of the working time of the teaching staff was determined in astronomical hours and corresponded to the total duration of the classes, including breaks. Application of the updated tariffing of school teachers in 2019 year due to the need to calculate the standard - an indicator of the financial costs required for the education of one child during the school year. The definition of standards is entrusted to the regional authorities that regulate the management of the areas of finance and education, so the standard value of a student-hour varies significantly across the country. When calculating salaries, the level of qualification of a specialist and the name of the disciplines taught are additionally taken into account, but in practice, the correspondence of the tariff scale to the volume of actually performed pedagogical work remains conditional.

HOW MUCH SHOULD TEACHER PAY IN THE 2019/20 ACADEMIC YEAR?

Find out in the magazine "Handbook of the head of an educational institution" what salary requirements were approved by the government and the All-Russian Trade Union of Education in 2019

In accordance with government initiatives that were announced in 2012, by the 2019-2019 academic year, the real salary of teachers was to be 200% higher than the average rate in the region, but due to crisis situation in the economy, optimistic news are still only forecasts. At the same time, in 2019, more than 14.5 billion rubles were allocated to increase the level of remuneration for pedagogical work, which is encouraging.

However, it is important not to forget that teacher salary calculation in 2019, as in recent years, will be formed from several components, which is reflected in the table.

What is the salary of a teacher according to the new wage system

Teacher salary components Explanations
Base salary

It is determined taking into account the typical teaching load - the number of working hours allotted for the preparation and conduct of classes, checking home and control works, organization extracurricular activities schoolchildren.

Compensatory part (up to 100% of base salary)

Bonuses accrued for the intensity of work (replacement, combination of positions), education of children with disabilities, as well as payments to teachers in rural schools, intended to pay utility bills.

Incentive payments (up to 100% bonus + up to 100% bonus + up to 100% bonus + seniority bonus) The incentive part of the salary is accrued in agreement with the governing council of the school from the funds of the educational institution's own fund for seniority, the implementation of advanced pedagogical experience, and the demonstration by students of high educational results.

Additional factors driving the increase in teacher salaries in 2019 include:

  1. An increase in the minimum wage (minimum wage) from May 1, 2019 to the subsistence minimum of 11,163 rubles, which contributed to an increase in salaries in the public sector.
  2. Information summary of the minimum wage by region (download)
  3. Starting January 1, 2019, the indexation of teachers' salaries by 4% (by 1,000 rubles or more).
  4. The introduction of a spread coefficient - an indicator that limits the value of the maximum possible gap between the actual salary of teachers and heads of educational institutions. It should be noted that this innovation is of great importance in view of the authority of the management staff of the educational institution to independently adjust salary allowances, which contributes to the growth of internal conflicts in the team and the tariffication of teachers, taking into account the subjective component. According to the innovation, the dispersion coefficient cannot be more than 1:4, as a result, with a teacher salary of 20,000 rubles, the head of an educational institution cannot receive more than 80,000 rubles.

Another significant innovation, due to which it can be changed tariffing of school teachers in 2019, is the introduction of new positions - senior and leading teacher. Systematic professional development, approved by an independent commission, will be reflected in financial well-being employees and help increase their levels of motivation.

New Teacher Salary System and Education Performance Indicators

The updated procedure for calculating remuneration for pedagogical work, implemented in accordance with government initiatives, is considered by educators to be ill-conceived, and in many respects unfair, and there is every reason to believe that this trend will continue in 2019. Normative indicators and then, in real educational conditions, are a complete discrepancy, which is due to regional characteristics, the need for improvement new system tariffing and subjectivism, sometimes shown by the leaders of the educational institution. As a result, a complex of factors is formed that determines not only the actual parameters of the educational paradigm, but also the difficulties in calculating the salaries of teachers (including minimizing the possibility of increasing actual rates):

  1. The need to enlarge classes due to the calculation of salary rates taking into account the number of children. Such an approach threatens to gradually abolish individual approach, the implementation of which is impossible if it is necessary to interact with a large classroom team, as well as a conscious refusal of the teacher to introduce advanced pedagogical practices, work with gifted children - potential winners of Olympiads and subject competitions.
  2. Preservation of the declarative nature of the assessment of certain areas of pedagogical work - the organization of extracurricular activities of schoolchildren, research activities.
  3. Strengthening the relationship between student grades and salary levels (the teacher remains financially responsible for giving unsatisfactory grades). Thus, moral responsibility for academic performance is removed from students and their parents, and teachers working with “weak” classes automatically demonstrate low performance. professional activity, losing the lion's share of incentive payments.
  4. Preservation of high chances of unfair distribution of the workload: in terms of per capita wages, a young teacher working with large classes can earn significantly more than a more experienced colleague assigned to small classes, which is especially true for small schools.
  5. The actual need to demonstrate inflated indicators, without which the teacher cannot count on a significant increase in the base salary.

In this way, school teacher salary remains a problematic issue, the regulation of which in 2019, even with the allocation of additional funding, requires close attention from the regional authorities and the government, as well as correcting the situation on the ground by the heads of the educational institutions.

How is a teacher's salary actually calculated in 2019

The problem of labor motivation in the field of education - pedagogical and managerial - is gradually recognized as one of the key ones, now expressed as a rethinking of the remuneration of teachers. When raising the question of How is a teacher's salary calculated?, in order to improve the quality of the educational process and activate the creative activity of employees, take into account private interest, which, in financial terms, can reflect incentive bonuses to wages.

The development of an incentive system is a comprehensive approach to improving the quality of work, implemented as a way to manage social system through the motivation of specific labor behavior. For effective stimulation, it is advisable to use three types of incentives - financial, social and psychological, the competent use of which allows teaching staff to function successfully for a long time without the intervention of the subject of management.

The introduction of a system of incentive payments provides for:

  1. The need for constant monitoring and correction of the new teacher remuneration system in each educational organization in order to create conditions under which each employee receives a salary corresponding to the level of professional efforts and actual workload.
  2. Efficient use of budgetary funds and targeted planning of tasks that prevent unnecessary expenses.
  3. Development and implementation of mechanisms for increasing the share of the over-tariff fund (incentive part) in the general wage fund with the provision of the opportunity to participate in coordinating its distribution to the school council.
  4. Increasing differentiation in the remuneration of teachers of various qualifications against the backdrop of the approval of a new certification system that stimulates the development of effective educational technologies, ICT methods, methods of organizing design, research and search, experimental activities students within the framework of mastering the subject minimum.

At this stage of the transformation of the system of socio-economic incentives for employees in the field of education, there is an acute problem of assessing the work of personnel, which should ensure the transformation of labor efforts into a monetary equivalent. Most educators do not fully understand How is a teacher's salary calculated?, while the set of actions implemented by the heads of educational institutions when distributing incentive payments remains unclear to most teachers due to low threshold awareness. In order to increase the level of control over actual earnings and save high level professional motivation should take into account the indicators of the NSOT, enshrined in legal documents. Failure to comply with these conditions in specific OUs is a reason to check payroll mechanisms in order to protect personal financial interests.

Regulatory conditions for calculating teacher remuneration with the accrual of incentive bonuses

The combination of the above factors, which should be clear to every teacher in order to protect personal financial interests, determines the real mechanism teacher salary calculation. At the same time, against the backdrop of a weak development of mechanisms for control by the working community over the process of monthly distribution of payments and due to the need to comply with limits when introducing forms of per capita financing, the heads of educational institutions are often forced to deliberately violate certain legislative norms - change the maximum class occupancy indicators, carry out unlawful reduction of hours the curriculum and rates of junior teaching staff, which makes it difficult to control the current salary level and blurs the understanding of the possibilities for increasing it.

Coefficients by categories of teachers

One of the conditions for a stable increase in wages in the education system by this moment is considered to be a continuous improvement in the level of professional skills, which reflect pay ratios by category of teachers. Most often, in the Regulations on the NSOT of various constituent entities of the Russian Federation, a multiplying coefficient for the salary for the qualification category is used. This is the only coefficient that allows taking into account the qualification characteristics of the teacher in the model of remuneration based on the cost of a student-hour.

According to the Model methodology presented in the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia dated November 26, 2007 No. IK-244/03, the increasing coefficient A for the qualification category of a teacher can be:

  • 1.05 - for teachers with the second category;
  • 1.10 - for teaching staff with the first category;
  • 1.15 - for teaching staff with the highest category.

The multiplication factor indicators calculated at the federal level taking into account the cost of a student-hour are used in many regions, but they are also revised taking into account real budgetary possibilities.

Another significant teacher coefficient per category determined based on experience labor activity, which was recommended to be abandoned in order to attract young professionals to the industry. At the same time, many regions have retained this type of allowance, the maximum rate of which is limited to 15-20%. A bonus to the actual salary for young teachers may be the level of education: obtaining a "bachelor", "specialist", "master" degree gives the right to establish a base salary at the level provided for officials with higher professional education.

Additional funding for schools is accompanied by a widespread transition to new wage systems (NSWP).

Their principles were worked out by the pilot regions within the framework of comprehensive education modernization projects in 2007-2009.

Three models of new wage systems have developed in the regions. These models are built on common principles, but have significant differences.

Key principles of the new wage system underlying the NSOT models:

  • the payroll fund (PF) of each school is formed on the basis of the per capita standard. The school receives money under the state order for the education of each child - according to the number of children, and not on the basis of whether they like it or not educational institution local authorities. The school strives to create attractive conditions for each student and decides for itself what personnel it needs for this. FOT = N x Y, where N is the value of the standard per student, established in the subject of the Russian Federation, Y is the number of students in educational institution;
  • the school creates its own staffing in the amount of funds brought to it. The school seeks to form an optimal staffing table in accordance with the priorities, features of its educational program, increasing wages, primarily for full-time employees;
  • The school wage fund is divided into basic and incentive parts. The basic part of the wage fund provides employees with the payment of a constant part of their salary (for the performance official duties, taking into account the volume of work performed and working conditions). The incentive part of the wage fund is distributed with the participation of School Councils according to approved indicators of the quality of work of school employees (not for an increase in the volume of work performed);
  • the teacher's salary takes into account not only teaching hours, but also other activities that he carries out: managing an office, checking notebooks, making visual aids and handouts, consultations with parents, etc .;
  • the director's salary is proportional to the average salary of teachers, motivating him not to inflate the staff beyond necessity, but to ensure an acceptable level of teachers' remuneration.

The essential difference between the three models is the method of forming a permanent part of the teacher's salary

Model 1. Base salary +

The model based on the base salary and multipliers allows the calculation of the permanent part of the salary of school employees to be based on the base salaries approved at the regional level (for employees occupying the same position, the base salary is the same). Depending on the characteristics of the teacher's workload (the number of teaching hours, the volume of non-class activities carried out, etc.), increasing coefficients are applied to the base salary. A different number of students from different teachers in the implementation of this NSOT model can also be taken into account when calculating salaries through a special coefficient.

Model 2. All inclusive

The model based on the teacher's salary for 36 working hours per week differs from the two previous ones in that all activities of the teacher are paid in salary for 36 working hours per week. Within these 36 hours, there can be both school hours and non-school hours (for example, hours for checking notebooks or for holding parent-teacher meetings, etc.). The share of teaching and non-teaching hours of a particular teacher is determined employment contract between teacher and employer. The cost of teaching and non-teaching hours of work of a teacher can be approved at the level of the school, municipality or region as a whole.

Model 3. Student hour

The model based on the “student-hour” allows, when calculating the constant part of teachers' salaries, to take into account both the difference in the number of teaching hours taught by teachers and the number of students with whom teachers work. Each school independently calculates the value of a student-hour (the cost of a teacher working with one student during one academic hour) in the amount of the wage fund. For each teacher, the number of student-hours of workload is determined. Thus, the intensity of his work is taken into account in the constant part of the teacher's salary.

A teacher is a profession that is not only responsible, but also requires constant contact with children who are not always distinguished by a great zeal for learning. The task of the teacher is to captivate the student into the world of entertaining discoveries, making the process exciting and inspiring.

Teachers are easily stimulated to further development and professional development through the payment of decent wages. Indeed, every rising generation depends on the skills of teachers, and if a teacher thinks only about how to feed himself and his family, one can hardly hope for a quality education.

Why teachers have different salaries

Many educators are concerned about the issue of obvious discrimination - the salary of a teacher working in the outback is much lower than a metropolitan teacher who works in exactly the same public school. Officials explain this by the fact that each subject of the Russian Federation has its own level of economic development, on which teachers' salaries depend. Of course, all financial flows flow to Moscow, which is why the salary of a teacher here, in comparison with other regions, is more attractive.

In accordance with statistical data, in 2016 the average salary of a teacher in Russia was set at the following indicators:

  • in the capital, teachers receive an average of about 65,000 rubles;
  • Penza shows completely different results - here the salary of a teacher has only recently reached the mark of 30,000 rubles;
  • in the Altai Territory, the salary froze at around 26,000 rubles;
  • in Dagestan, teachers are paid even less - about 22,000 rubles;
  • there are regions that please teachers with salary rates - Nenets autonomous region pays 73,000 rubles a month for educators in a public school, and in Chukotka in 2016, teachers work with a salary of 83,000 rubles.

What is a teacher's salary?

The big difference in wages is recorded for the following reasons:

  1. As we mentioned, the higher economic development region, the more the educator receives.
  2. If until 2008 the country had a single tariff scale, then already in 2009 it was decided that each teacher can form his own salary, because now it depends on the length of service, qualification level, and the burden imposed. Personal achievements in work activity, the presence of insignia, an academic degree and other wisdom, confirming the quality of the education provided, are also important.

In 2016, the salary of a teacher combines 3 components at once:

  • base part;
  • compensatory;
  • stimulating;
  • one-time bonuses.

The base part is formed in accordance with the number of working hours (classroom load) and the number of students who attend one lesson. This also includes extracurricular workload - the teacher's conducting additional projects, checking homework in students' notebooks, class management, responsibility for the proper condition of the classroom, extracurricular activities with gifted children who were identified by special testing, work with students requiring help in correction groups.

The compensation part fixes the teacher's work in special conditions, for example, teachers working with chemical reagents can hope for this type of additional payment.

Incentive funds are allocated to those educators who:

  • do their job so well that they release truly talented and erudite children from under their wing;
  • learn and successfully implement new teaching methods.

Incentive payments cannot exceed the statutory 40-60% of the base wage. They are calculated on the basis of points accrued monthly, after which they turn into bonus points.

Innovations in 2016

In 2016, officials contributed to legislative acts on education, additional norms and regulations, according to which teachers will face the following changes already this academic year:

  • some allowances are now included in the basic salary;
  • appeared new category, for which additional amounts of money are paid - it consists in an increased work experience, namely 25 years of work. Professionals in their field are guaranteed to receive another increase in the base part of the salary as soon as they have worked in the field of education for 25 years;
  • increased job ratios, which are taken into account when calculating the basic component of earnings.

The salary of a teacher in 2016 on average in Russia is expected in the following figures:

  • a teacher with a higher education and the highest category, who has worked for 25 years or more, will receive 65,000 rubles a month;
  • a teacher with similar parameters, but who has not yet worked at school for 25 years, can hope to earn 57,000 rubles;
  • if a worker has the first category of qualification and works in the field of education for up to 20 years, he is credited with 48,000 rubles;
  • if the teacher has received a higher education, but has not yet earned a category, and the length of service is from 5 to 7 years, the salary is issued in the amount of 32,000 rubles.

Despite the statements of legislators, the figures given are still ephemeral and very doubtful, as we were able to see above when we considered the earnings of teachers in different regions of Russia.

Analyst forecasts

The government is reassuring educators and, despite the difficult financial situation in which Russia finds itself, promises regular salary increases. Analysts confirm that everything is possible, because back in 2012, Vladimir Putin signed a bill by 2018 to increase the material content of public sector employees to the average values that will be recorded as of 2018.

How honestly the tasks set are being implemented in the regions, the working people feel. In some areas, the teacher's salary has actually almost doubled, while in others, teachers continue to beg and wait until their needs are finally paid attention to.

How is the increase in salaries of educational workers going?

  1. The phased process does not provide for a dramatic and abrupt change in salary.
  2. Payments are constantly subject to indexation, for example, in 2016, an inflation rate of 5-7% is declared.
  3. Increases are formed mainly from regional budgets, so analysts are skeptical about significant changes in teachers' salaries. Everything, again, depends on the cleanliness of local governments and the rate of filling local budgets.
  4. At the same time, the procedure for global optimization of many areas continues, which can push local administrations look for effective and efficient ways to solve local money problems.

Along with the increase in the salaries of teachers, analysts note a threatening trend of reducing the number of workers; literally over the past 4 years, schools of various levels of accreditation have been closed. Officials considered it unprofitable to maintain schools in rural areas, as a result of which the experienced educators, who devoted almost their entire lives to their work, lost the opportunity to earn at least a living.

The worst thing is that in such harsh conditions, the deputies do not offer any alternative where to get a job for an impoverished teacher and where to study for rural children. As a result, first of all, the latter suffer, who are forced to get to the nearest educational institution 5-10 km away.

AT recent times Complaints began to come in from teachers fired by principals in the name of saving money. In order not to pay for the impressive work experience and category, instead of professionals, young specialists were recruited, due to their inexperience, they have minimal knowledge regarding the management educational process. What kind of education should be expected?

Teacher salary abroad

We became interested in how the situation is with earnings in foreign countries, where, by the way, the economic crisis is also raging. So, sit back and envy:

  • in the United States, in terms of rubles, a teacher receives an average salary of 170,000 rubles from the state;
  • Great Britain estimates the labor of education workers at 160,000 rubles;
  • in Canada, the average indicators were set at 220,000 rubles;
  • Belgian teachers are paid 165,000 rubles;
  • Germany is not far behind - 170,000 rubles;
  • the estimate for the remuneration of educators in France looks modest - 120,000 rubles a month;
  • Sweden literally carries on the hands of those who raise and educate children - 295,000 rubles;
  • in neighboring Poland, a teacher receives 70,000 rubles.

It is also interesting that schools in these countries are not similar to Russian ones.

Teaching is a noble and necessary profession. The first teacher is remembered, if not by everyone, then by many for sure. In turn, the teacher remembers each student who pretty much spoiled his nerves. How much does a teacher get, and how is a teacher's salary calculated?

Base salary calculation

Teachers' hard work is paid in three ways: base salary, flat rate, or student hourly wages. Base salary - a method when bonuses are added to the base salary for checking notebooks, conducting electives, the number of students, the number of students who won olympiads, and others.

  • teacher salary;
  • special payments, which include deviations in working conditions from the norm, the presence of supervised classes as a class teacher, the assigned category, holding meetings with students' parents, the need to check notebooks, work on educational and methodological materials, office management;
  • incentive payments (this block includes rewards for the results achieved based on the results of participation in regional and regional olympiads, the success of passing a unified state exam and the absence of facts of deviant behavior among children).

Fixed rate payroll

How to calculate the teacher's salary according to the so-called "All Inclusive" method? This methodology is based on the official salary at the rate of 36 hours of work of the teacher, as well as incentive payments. Incentive payments, as in the first case, are the same. It also takes into account the application of new solutions and approaches in the field of education, the implementation of particularly important management tasks. Work experience is of great importance.

Accountants in many regions of Russia, including Moscow or Kaliningrad region. AT this case the concepts of the basic and stimulating parts remain, based on the ratio of 70% to 30%. The base part takes into account the load, the number of students. Carrying out research work, participating in conferences and competitions, developing educational and methodological material become the main factors for an accountant who thinks about the question of how to calculate a teacher's salary.

primary school teacher salary

Working with children from 6 to 10 years old is interesting, but nevertheless difficult. At this age, the child first encounters the world of seriousness and responsibility. The task of the teacher is not to harm the child's curiosity, craving for knowledge, to help the child become more diligent, attentive and responsible. How is the salary of a primary school teacher calculated, if the opportunities to participate in major regional and regional events are reduced to a minimum, and a junior high school student is still far from exams?

The main variables in the calculation of wages will be the hourly rate approved by the director of the educational institution, the number of hours worked, the number of children who are taught by the teacher and the percentage of the allowance, depending on the category of the teacher.

Foreign language teachers and salaries

Teacher payroll accounting

The salary of a teacher is calculated as the product of the base rate per hour (in this case, the academic hour is taken), the number of hours worked and the percentage of the allowance for the assigned qualification.

The qualification of a teacher includes education and work experience, as well as the results of attestations passed. The higher the qualification, the higher the teacher's income.

The recommended billing frequency is once a year, with the exception of curricula, according to which the hourly load is set in half a year. The volumes of loads are coordinated at the beginning of the first and second academic semesters. On the basis of curricula and developed educational programs, the hourly workload of each teacher is calculated, which is multiplied by the salary rate. Cases when one teacher replaces another are paid additionally. The remuneration of a teacher should remain at the same level if his workload has been reduced for reasons beyond his control.

Billing must be done at the end of the school year before the teachers go on vacation. The rules establish that informing employees about tariffing should take place no later than two months before the date of entry into force.

For example, an accountant of an educational institution in Moscow will apply the “Student-hour9raquo;” methodology, in the Moscow Region they will take the “Basic salary +” methodology as a basis.

How to calculate the salary of a primary school teacher

As you know, a school teacher is a rather broad concept that combines several specialties. Therefore, teachers receive different salaries, depending on many conditions, from a specific position to the specifics of the region and the status of the school. However, the procedure for calculating salaries and allowances for employees of Russian public schools is general, so it can be applied, in particular, when calculating the salary of a primary school teacher.

Components of wages

The salary of teachers consists of:

In ordinary schools, where there are no correction classes and other special conditions, the calculation of the teacher's salary depends on the number of lessons and the number of students. It also takes into account extracurricular workload, for example, checking homework, fulfilling the duties of a class teacher, and so on. There are also coefficients depending on the experience of the teacher and the category of his qualification.

Compensation payments are provided if the teacher works at night, in dangerous conditions, in particular, with chemical reagents. Incentive payments are included in the premiums and are intended to encourage the teacher for the good performance of students in passing exams, the victory of students in olympiads, the introduction of new didactic teaching materials and other successes in work. However such bonus cannot exceed 60% of salary. Bonuses for teachers are carried out according to the principle of other budgetary institutions: quarterly and annual bonuses are paid, and a certain amount is accrued by the holidays.

The salaries of teachers must undergo annual indexation, which amounted, for example, in 2016 to 7%.

How is the salary of a high school teacher calculated?

Today, there are several electronic online programs for calculating the salaries of teachers on the Internet. These programs, of course, require data verification, but on average they are able to suggest how to calculate the teacher's salary. Calculations can also be done manually.

First, you need to take the base rate (20 hours a week for elementary school) salary, which today is 3000-3500 rubles. Increasing coefficients can be applied to the base rate if the teacher:

  • teaches in the village (0.25);
  • in a correctional institution (0.2);
  • in a boarding school for orphans (0.2);
  • in a boarding school (0.15);
  • has skills in teaching local dialects, for example, the Chechen language (0.15).

The available coefficients are added to it:

  • for the teacher's higher education;
  • qualification category;
  • honorary title (up to 0.2);
  • work experience;
  • the presence of a scientific degree (10% for a candidate's and 20% for a doctoral dissertation);
  • the status of an educational institution (lyceum or gymnasium), which gives a supplement of 0.15.

The management of an educational institution has the right to set coefficients for the complexity of the discipline being taught. These payments are made from the funds of the school itself, so the state does not regulate them.

Other types of payments are added to the base rate. So how to calculate the salary of a primary school teacher?

Approximate calculation of the real income of a primary school teacher with secondary qualifications

To make it clear to a person what to expect from work in primary school, an approximate calculation can be made. The data obtained is relevant at the beginning of 2017. To determine the salary, we take the following data:

  • average work experience (from 5 to 10 years), which gives + 10% to the salary;
  • the first category (coefficient 1.5);
  • complete higher Teacher Education, for which a surcharge in the amount of a third of the base rate is due;
  • the alleged teacher allegedly works in a regular school and does not have additional merit in the form of honorary titles and academic degrees;
  • schools set coefficients for the complexity of subjects, but there is no such allowance for an ordinary elementary school teacher;
  • 15% of the salary is paid for classroom management in primary school;
  • another 10% is due to compensate for the time spent checking notebooks;
  • exactly the same amount is paid to the head of the study room, which is usually available to the primary school teacher.

As a result of the calculation it turned out the amount of 10115.88 rubles. It is on such income that a person who wants to work in an elementary school should be guided.

As can be seen, the basic salary at school still does not reach the average rates in the regions. Nevertheless, in our time, regional incentive programs are being implemented, under which bonuses are paid to teachers. This allows us to significantly bring the size of teacher salaries closer to the average. In addition, regular mandatory bonuses, which generally serve as a good addition to the basic salary, cannot be left out of the picture.
