(2) Then spring came, and one morning, after a warm night rain, something green, smoky, indefinite looked in the window.

(3) Every spring the same thing is repeated, and each time it is like a miracle, a miracle of renewal, and one cannot get used to it. (4) I stood and looked for a long time and could not get enough of it. (5) Now, it was as if someone living had settled outside the window, making noise and suddenly falling silent, and during the wind softly and meekly tapping on the window.

(6) He lived with all his leaves, thousands of thousands of leaves, exposing them to the sun, moon, wind, rain. (7) He enjoyed life with might and main, every minute, every second of his life. (8) And I, thinking about my life, would like to learn from him this constant joy in the wild under heaven.

(9) Birds flew on its branches, they whistled, sang their short city songs, maybe the poplar told them about me, and they looked out the window and grinned.

(10) What a long wonderful summer it was in that first year of life in a new room, with a living poplar at the very window, what endless sunsets, and bright nights, and light dreams! (11) Only sometimes I suddenly dreamed that for some reason I had lost a new room and again I live in an old, dark and fumes, with a bare electric light bulb on a long cord. (12) But I woke up, and the poplar looked into the room with clean, fresh walls, and the predawn green noise merged with the feeling of a happy awakening. (13) Then autumn came, the leaves turned yellow, and the room became quiet, sad.

(14) Autumn showers and storms began, at night the poplar creaked, moaned, beat its branches against the wall, as if asking for protection from the weather. (15) Gradually, the leaves flew around from its upper branches, and then from the lower ones. (16) The leaves flowed in streams, covering the balcony, and some stuck to the glass and looked in horror into the room, waiting for something.

(17) And now not a single leaf was left on the poplar, it stood naked, black, as if burned, and against the background of the blue sky, every black twig, every vein was visible, it was solemnly quiet and sad in nature, the unheated sun shone in summer. (18) And, as always, childhood was remembered and thought: who are you? (19) What is the meaning of life? (20) Then it was spring again, and everything was all over again, and life seemed endless.

(21) But one morning I heard a sound under the window, as if my poplar was squealing. (22) I rushed to the window. (23) Below were scrapers and road rollers that were breaking through a new street, and a worker was cutting down a poplar standing in the middle of the road with an electric saw.

(24) And from above, I saw how a shiver passed through his entire green body, he staggered, thought for a moment and collapsed onto a new street, blocking it in its entire width with noisy green landslide foliage.

(25) And the red-brick, boring, bare wall of the house on the other side of the street opened up to me, and since then I have only seen it and a piece of the sky.

(26) I often remember my poplar. (27) And it still seems that he has not disappeared from the earth, but is growing somewhere in the forest, in the clearing, making noise with all the leaves.

  • requirements for the results of mastering the elective course;
  • bibliography
  • electronic applications (thematic planning, criteria for evaluating essay-reasoning, methodological developments lessons, didactic material, final samples of essays

Explanatory note

In a modern school, when priorities are given to developmental education, the main means of development have become training in transformative and evaluative activities. Transformative activity requires logical and verbal processing of ready-made knowledge: drawing up a plan, synopsis, theses, combining several sources that do not contradict each other in terms of ideological and factual content. Evaluative activity is understood as the ability to evaluate answers, written works of comrades and works of other authors. Work on an essay is also an element of developmental learning

Working on an essay teaches to develop thoughts on a chosen topic, forms literary views and tastes, and makes it possible to express what worries and excites. It introduces the student to creativity, allowing him to express his personality, his view of the world, to realize himself in the written

Whoever today's schoolchildren may become in the future, they, first of all, must be cultured people, and a truly cultured person today also needs to be able to write freely and competently, as well as speak fluently and competently. Personal development is impossible without the ability to express one's thoughts and feelings - both orally and in writing. And personal development is a necessary prerequisite for solving social and economic tasks

It is no coincidence that the KIM USE in the Russian language in the 11th grade says that part C - a small essay-reasoning - is intended to test not only the preparedness of graduates in the Russian language, but also the general culture. In addition, the essay-reasoning is also a variant of task C on the USE in other subjects of the educational cycle

Thus, to teach writing an essay, and especially an essay-reasoning or essay-thinking, is one of the urgent problems of the modern school, and this skill is necessary for every cultured person, no matter in what areas of science, technology or art he or she self-actualizes in the future.

The proposed program of the elective course "Composition-reasoning as a genre and type of task of increased complexity on the Unified State Examination in the Russian language" will be useful not only for students of the humanities, but also for any school graduate

Objectives of the elective course:

  • humanitarian development of students
  • development creativity personalities
  • students' mastery of free writing
  • preparing students for the exam in the Russian language

Objectives of the elective course:

  • help students prepare as effectively as possible for task C on the exam
  • improve and develop the ability to construct a written statement in the genre of writing-reasoning
  • to form and develop the skills of competent and fluent written speech
  • improve and develop the ability to read, understand what is read and analyze the general content of texts of different functional styles
  • to improve and develop the ability to convey in writing one's own, individual perception, one's understanding of the problems posed in the text, one's assessment of facts and phenomena
  • to form and develop the ability to select arguments, organically introduce them into the text

Technology for organizing the educational process for an elective course

The program is based on educational and methodological materials on the Russian language and the analysis of the results of completing the task C of the Unified State Examination of previous years.

The implementation of this program involves the use of student-centered learning, recognizing the student as the main figure educational process

Learning objectives are realized in the course of active cognitive activity of each student in his interaction with the teacher and other students. Education is based on the theoretical and practical forms of work with students. Forms of conducting classes: lesson-lecture with elements research activities, a lesson on the application of knowledge in practice, skills lessons (training), lessons on the integrated application of knowledge.

The main organizational forms of involving students in educational activities:

  • work under the guidance of a teacher (mastering and consolidating theoretical material, compiling texts such as reasoning)
  • independent work;
  • work in groups, pairs
  • individual work

The organization of the lesson provides for the creation of favorable emotional and business relations, the organization of independent cognitive activity of students, aimed at developing independence as a personality trait
