The cholera receded as suddenly as it came. According to legend, this image was more than five hundred years old, but the peculiarities of painting and the fact that it was painted on a canvas pasted on a board testify to its much later origin - apparently, this list was made in the 18th century from the original image that has not come down to us. In memory of the miraculous deliverance of Vologda from cholera, the townspeople ordered and placed in the Dmitrievskaya church a list with the "Seven-strelnaya", from which miracles also began to occur over time.
