In order to gain the Highest Knowledge, to achieve eternity and bliss, it is necessary to clear the mind of everything that prevents this. To do this, you can use various techniques, meditations and mantras - what suits you gives the result.

What technique, mantra, prayer and meditation to use?

There is no single correct meditation, mantra or technique that would suit every person at any stage of his spiritual growth, therefore, each person must choose that method for himself ...

The space of our home is our refuge from the problems, difficulties and troubles of the world. And this space needs its aura to be maintained in a state conducive to life. Cleansing the space of our home is a natural process - the same as cleansing our body. After all, the boundaries between the body and space are very arbitrary ...

Our home means a lot to us. This is the place where we love, dream, rejoice in our achievements, laugh, worry, grieve, create a family and just...

Achieving the purity of the temple of the soul includes internal and external purification.

External cleansing is:

* Washing the body in the morning and evening (before sunrise and after sunset) with pleasant water. A full ablution is also performed after a bowel movement, but not right before going to bed.

First the feet are washed, then the head, then the whole body. Full body wash: increases life span, immunity, cleanses and harmonizes the aura.

* Washing the feet after returning home, before and after meals and before going to bed.

* Rinsing...

A new scientific paradigm is already emerging on the basis of the knowledge that has been accumulated by mankind. The basis of this knowledge is not only orthodox science, but also religion and esoteric science. Only their union and interaction will make it possible to cognize the Universe in all its manifestations, on all planes of being.

The multidimensional structure of the Universe is gradually becoming an understandable and explainable factor that affects the manifested plane of human existence. The subtle energies that are already present...

The most important essence of a person is the Soul, and it is she who determines his special individuality. During life, under the influence of circumstances and negative thinking, a person changes for the worse and, much less often, for the better. Psychologists are working on this problem, but they have not achieved much success. It is necessary to take into account the energy component of a person, since it is in the Soul that all his negative and positive traits.

What is the Soul, such is the Man!

"Yogi, leaving attachment, act with the body, mind, intellect and even the senses, only for purification."

Yoga means connection with God and anything connected with God will purify or advance the person. Thus, he will gradually lose all false self-identification with this or that in this material world.

Even being in this world, he will see everything in connection with God, and act in this context.

The best way to do this is to do nothing: let your body take out Ama by itself through fasting.

Fasting is the first and best of all medicines. When possible, you should fast for 24-48 hours, consuming as little of any food as possible.

If you are very ill, such as with a fever, this will not be too difficult, because you will probably not want to eat anything anyway. Brew some weak dried ginger tea (about 1 teaspoon per liter of water, boil for 20 minutes) and strain...

Neti-kriya is a method of cleansing the nasopharynx and all adjacent cavities, which has an extremely beneficial effect on the body as a whole, and in particular on the organs inside the skull.

There are two types of Neti-kriya - Jala-neti and Sutra-neti.

Jala-neti - cleansing the nasopharynx with water, Sutra-neti - cleansing the nasopharynx with a thread. In addition to cleansing itself, the Neti procedure also provides a rather intense massage of the airways inside the skull.

Sutra-neti is...

As much as purity, the purification of the body, is necessary, it is just as necessary that the mind should also be pure and purified, and perhaps even to a greater extent. As the irregularity in the work of the physical organism, and any pollution of it cause disease.

This applies equally to the mind. There are impurities related to the mind that can lead to various diseases, and by purifying the mind, one can help create both physical and mental health.

By health, I mean the natural state. Isn't spirituality natural?

Only a few think this way. Most people think that being spiritual means being able to work miracles, to see extraordinary things, amazing phenomena; and few know how simple it is and that being spiritual means being natural.

Purification of the mind can be done in three different ways. The first way is to calm the mind, because very often it is the activity of the mind that is the cause of its pollution. Quieting the mind removes defilements; it is like attuning the mind to its natural fundamental tone. The mind is like a pond: when the water is calm, the reflection is clear. If the mind is in a restless state, one cannot clearly perceive either premonition or inspiration. As soon as the mind becomes calm, it receives a clear reflection, like a lake when the water is calm.

This state of mind is brought about by the practice of physical rest. Sitting in a certain posture creates a certain impact. Mystics know many ways to sit in silence, and each way has a specific meaning. And this value is not only imaginary, each method leads to an exact result. I have had many experiences, both with myself and with others, that a certain way of sitting changes the mindset of a person.

In the old days, people knew this and found different sitting positions for different people. There was a pose of a warrior, a student, a meditator, a businessman, a worker, a lawyer, a judge, an inventor. Imagine how wonderful it is that the tremendous effect that a certain posture has on a person, and especially on his mind, has been discovered and experienced by mystics for a thousand years.

We feel this impact in our daily life, but we do not think about it. We happen to sit in a certain way and we feel anxious; we happen to sit in a different way and we feel calm. A certain posture makes us feel inspired, a different way of sitting leads to a feeling of loss of energy, a lack of enthusiasm. By calming the mind with a certain posture, one is able to purify the mind.

The second way to purify the mind is based on the way of breathing. It is very interesting for an Eastern man to note how sometimes in the West people unconsciously apply principles from the mystical realms in their inventions. They have a machine that cleans carpets by sucking up dust. It is the same system turned inside out: the right way of breathing sucks the dust out of the mind and throws it out. Scientists are so advanced that they talk about exhaling carbon dioxide; harmful gas is removed from the human body when exhaled.

The mystics go further by saying that the withdrawal is not only from the body, but from the mind as well. If man knew how to remove impurities, he could remove more than you can imagine. The impurities of the mind can be brought out by the right way of breathing; that is why the mystic combines the posture with the breath. Posture helps to calm the mind, breathing helps to purify the mind; they work together.

The third way to purify the mind is based on attitude, on the right attitude towards life. This is the path of morality and the royal road to purification. A man can breathe and sit in silence in a thousand postures, but if he does not have the right attitude towards life, he will never develop; this is a fundamental thing. But the question is, what is the right attitude? The right attitude depends on how graciously a person regards his own shortcomings. Very often we are ready to justify our shortcomings and mistakes and willingly turn our error into rightness.

However, we do not have the same attitude towards others. We will reprimand them when the time comes to express our opinion about them. It's so easy to judge others! It is so easy to take one step and dislike others, and it is not difficult at all to take another step and hate other people. And in doing so, we do not think that we are doing something wrong. Although it is this state that develops within us, we only see it from the outside; all the evil that accumulates inside, we see in others.

Hence man is constantly in illusion; he is always pleased with himself and always blames others. And the most amazing thing is that the most worthy of blame is the one who blames others the most. But it is better to put it another way: because a person blames the most, he becomes worthy of the greatest blame.

There is a beauty of form, color, line, manners, character. Some people lack beauty, others have more; only comparison makes us think that one person is better than another. If we didn't compare, then everyone would be good; it is comparison that makes us consider one thing more beautiful than another. But if we look more closely, we will see that there is beauty in that other thing as well.

Very often our comparison is wrong for the reason that although today we define in our mind what is good and beautiful, but we can change these concepts within a month, a year. This shows us that we are capable of appreciating what we are looking at when the beauty of that thing appears before our eyes.

There is nothing surprising in the fact that if one person reaches the stage where he says: “Everything that I see in this world, I love, despite pain, struggle and difficulties; it’s all worth it,” then the other says: “It’s all sad, life is ugly; there is not a grain of beauty in this world.” Everyone is right from their point of view. They are both sincere. But they are different because they look at the world differently. Each of them has his own reason for approving life and its condemnation. Only one benefits for himself from the vision of beauty, and the other loses it from the underestimation of life, from the fact that he does not see beauty in it.

Therefore, due to a wrong attitude, a person accumulates in his mind unwanted impressions coming from people, because no one is perfect in this world. Everyone has a side that you can criticize and wish to correct. When one looks on this side, he accumulates impressions which make him more and more imperfect; and then it all becomes his world.

And when the mind turns into a sponge filled with unwanted impressions, then what it emits from itself also becomes unwanted. No one can speak ill of another without it becoming his own, for he who speaks ill of others is ill himself.

Thus, the purification of the mind from a moral point of view must be learned in our daily life, trying to view things with sympathy, benevolence: looking at other people as we look at ourselves, putting ourselves in their place, and not blaming others when we see their weaknesses. Souls born on earth are imperfect and show imperfection, and from this state they develop naturally coming to perfection.

If we were all perfect, there would be no purpose in our creation. And the manifestation is such that every being here can rise from imperfection to perfection. This is the purpose and joy of life, and this world was created for this. If we assume that every person is perfect and circumstances are perfect, then there will be no joy in life and no purpose in coming here.

Purification of the mind, therefore, means purifying it of all unwanted impressions; and not only from the shortcomings of others, for it is necessary to reach the stage where a person forgets his own shortcomings as well. I have seen just people who blame themselves for their mistakes until they become mistakes themselves. Constantly focusing on the error means imprinting it on the mind. The best principle is to forget others and ourselves, to set our minds on the accumulation of all that is good and beautiful.

Street boys in India have a very symbolic occupation. They take the earth from somewhere to find some metal like gold or silver in it, and all day long their hands are dusty. But what are they looking for? They are looking for gold and silver.

When we look for the good and the beautiful in this world of imperfection, we have many chances for disappointment. And at the same time, if we keep looking for gold without looking at the dust, we will find it. And as soon as we find it, we will find more and more.

There comes a point here in a man's life when he can see something good in the worst person in the world. And when a person reaches this point, he will lay his hand on the good, even if it were covered with a thousand veils, for he sought the good and attracted what was good.

Mind cleansing

In order to achieve Awakening, deification, one must first of all purify one's mind. Quoting Diadochos, Gregory Palamas asserts in this regard: when the mind begins to experience the unceasing action of God's light, it becomes all transparent, so that it clearly sees its own light - after all, it becomes all light when the strength of the soul takes possession of the passions. That is, the mind becomes, as it were, empty of its own nature, of its activity, being filled with divine light. He no longer imposes his nature clouded by passions and affections on the cognizable, but accurately and adequately, immediately and completely sees the reality of Truth with his inner vision.

Purification of the mind is achieved, according to hesychasm, by the correct direction of mental energies. Gregory Palamas claims that our mind is given, on the one hand, the power of thinking, thanks to which it considers intelligible things, and on the other hand, a unity that surpasses the nature of thought, thanks to which the mind is combined with the beyond; he is looking for this highest of everything in us, the only perfect, whole and undivided being, as if the image of images, which outlines and gathers together the intertwining and fluttering movement of our thought, on which just all solid knowledge stands. So, our mind can go in two directions: one path leads outward, is connected with the twisting and waving of thoughts, this is worldly, external, rationalistic, sensual-rational knowledge; but there is a second way - the way of unity, surpassing thought, when the mind is directly combined with the beyond, gathering at the same time into unity, into a point, concentrating. Isn't that what Professor Chaturvedi of Delhi University, who belongs to the tradition of Hinduism, told me about this in India, arguing that today the world appears before us as one huge laboratory in which science investigates a lot of things, while the true mind is concentrated in one point and thanks to does it get all the information completely?

These two paths cannot be taken at the same time. The fact is that our mind, according to the teachings of the Hesychasts, has two types of energy, and they are multidirectional. There are energies that go from the mind to the body - they subjugate the body, lead along the path of deification, changing not only our mind, but also the body. And there are energies that go from the body to the mind - if they take over, then the mind submits to worldly passions and can no longer ascend to God.

Moreover, according to Gregory Palamas, the mind also has such an energy that makes it self-sufficient, thereby likening it to God. So, although the mind descends to thoughts and through them to the complex diversity of life, spreading to all its actions (energies), it certainly has some other, higher energy when the mind acts by itself. That is, you can and should go to your own energy of the mind, which coincides with the divine energy. Exactly the same task of concentration of energies, subordination of the lower energies to the higher ones and the final exit to the highest type of energy is set by Buddhism before those who follow the path of Buddhism.

And this divine energy, which gives knowledge, is seen by man as light, and ignorance separates from God, while light gathers and copulates. Ignorance appears as a kind of special energy, opposite to light. Maximus the Confessor speaks of the light of knowledge, which makes those who trust it gods. Spiritual wisdom and deification are bestowed through light, which is the energy of the divine essence.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the energy of the mind is considered the most powerful of all types of energy, and the correct management of mental energy leads to a complete transformation of both the mind itself and the entire body-mental continuum of a person, and, consequently, to the transformation of the world around him, the main factor in the creation of which is namely the mind. Meditation, which in Tibetan Buddhism means the ultimate concentration of all energies and their control, has tremendous creative and transformative power, it creates and destroys gods, people and the world. If you cleanse your consciousness of all the defilements that cloud its originally pure nature, then the surrounding objects will appear before us as a creation of our states of mind. And when such a vision arises, everything around us becomes a pure land in which all phenomena are devoid of true existence and self-existence, since they exist only by virtue of designation by thought, that is, by virtue of the combination of the interdependent energies that form them with the energy of the mind, and the reality of phenomena is their emptiness from self-existence. Only the Void is permanent, unchanging and indestructible.

Mind or consciousness, according to Tantra Buddhism, has three levels - gross, subtle and subtle. The task of the adept is to transform his gross mind into the subtlest, clear light, in which the Emptiness is directly perceived, and work with the subtlest energy in order to achieve Buddhahood with the absolute knowledge inherent in this state, direct, non-conceptual comprehension of the Emptiness, which itself has a transforming power. The truth of the Buddhist path is the mind that has a direct realization of the Void, which is also the absolute truth of the mind, since it is as inherently empty as everything else.

Good health, friends and guests of the blog! Negative images of the past have a great impact on the present. All unpleasant events are recorded in the subconscious. They affect our life, emotions, behavior.

By clearing negative images, you can significantly improve your life. Do not be surprised if, after clearing these images, you suddenly begin to look at the world differently. If it suddenly becomes easier and more pleasant for you, if love begins to wake up in you. However, everything is individual here, but I recommend everyone to do the meditation of cleansing the mind.

Meditation to clear the mind of negative images

Remember this meditation and then do it. Close your eyes, relax. Then you need to enter the flow of love. Do not evaluate anything, remove all thoughts and connect your soul with its Creator. Mentally connect your soul with the Creator or Heavenly Father.

Stay in this wonderful state. Let the flow flow through you. It is filled with love. The more you are filled with it, the less fears become.

Remember the people through whom you received negative experiences and images, your offenders and enemies. Everyone, including the closest relatives, if at least once you had unpleasant events with them. Even if someone yelled at you and you had an unpleasant experience. Place mentally all of them in front of you and begin to transmit this stream of love to them.

Any aggression and anger, it's just not enough love. In addition, if you have encountered such people and situations, then you yourself have attracted them with your past actions or thoughts in this or past life. So, either they repay debts, or they teach you something. You are just reaping the rewards, because you, too, once caused violence. Realize this, forgive them and give them the love that flows through you.

Fill your offenders until they themselves become vessels of love and shining deities. They should become shining angels and gods. When you forgive your offenders, fill them with love so that they become shining gods, you will see the effectiveness of this meditation.

By such a purification meditation, you will cleanse your mind of negative images, and at the same time, you will purify your karma, which consists of these images. Write about your feelings in meditation in the comments.

Pure, shining subconscious to you! Sincerely,.

The article was written on the basis of Serebryakov's Vedic lectures, in particular, on the lecture "Nature of the Mind" from the seminar "Secrets of the Mind". The material of this seminar is based on the "Yoga of Patanjali" and "Manasa Shastra", which describes the deep structure of the mind.

The mind is the most subtle matter that exists, it is the subtlest substance. Like the body, the mind is arranged in a certain way, it has its own functions and obeys certain laws.

The brain can be compared to a computer, while the mind is the very energy that allows this computer to work. Consciousness or "I" uses the mind as an instrument through which it operates, including controlling our nervous system and subtle physiology.

The mind has the ability to penetrate. It spreads throughout the physical body, penetrates into the sense organs and in general into every cell of the body, but it can also spread further - into clothes, an apartment, a house, a city, a country and the whole world. The ability to penetrate depends on the strength of the mind. The mind moves along with consciousness, attention. Where we put our attention is where the mind goes.

It (the mind) cannot be detected by material means, but can be detected by activity.

There are only two functions of the mind - acceptance and rejection. The mind tends to accept that which is favorable to its senses (likes) and to reject that which is unfavorable to the senses (dislikes). And here we are not talking about the rationality of acceptance and rejection, since rationality is already a function of the mind, which is above the mind (it is an even more subtle substance). The mind knows what is useful and what is harmful; and unlike the mind, the mind is not subject to feelings. But if the mind is weak, the mind and feelings prevail in a person, on the occasion of which the person goes, chasing pleasures and entertainments that destroy the body, cause it to degrade and lead to other negative consequences.

The mind gets pleasure through the senses - we love to look at something beautiful, eat something tasty, touch something that brings pleasant sensations, inhale pleasant aromas, etc. – and thus the mind enjoys. Accordingly, the mind rejects what it does not like - ugly, tasteless, smelly, etc.

Why control the mind and senses

If the mind is not controlled, if it is given free rein, it will cling to everything, and if a person does not control his feelings, he wastes time, can get a lot of unnecessary problems and mental disorders.

The mind is able to move into the past, present and future. There are people living in the past (in constant memories), the present or the future. Constantly thinking about the past or the future is already a mental deviation, and if you also worry, worry, try to solve the problems of the past that cannot be solved, or problems that have not yet arisen, but may arise in the future ... this can lead to to serious mental illness.

A mentally healthy person lives mainly in the “now” moment, his mind and feelings are under the control of the mind - such a person is reasonable.

One of the properties of the mind is to identify with something, be it a body, a name, a nation, a position, a position in society, and so on. Identifying with something, the mind begins to worry about this object, to protect, etc. A person can dwell on it and suffer because of it.

Since consciousness is reflected in the mind, we (consciousness) consider ourselves the mind, while the mind is just a thinking entity, and consciousness (soul, “I”) is an aware entity, and these two functions (thinking and awareness) should not be confused.

Since the mind accumulates records of previous experiences, both favorable and unfavorable, sooner or later it becomes the cause of disease. When too many negative emotions and experiences have accumulated in the mind (the mind has become polluted), this negative energy begins to manifest itself clearly in various diseases. The mind (psyche) is closely interconnected with the body, so everything that accumulates in the mind is certainly reflected in the physical state. Correct control of the mind automatically purifies the mind, which leads to the elimination of many diseases.
Therefore, the mind must be controlled, and for this the mind must be stronger than the mind. A person with a strong mind will not be led by the senses (mind), because he knows what this or that action leads to. He prefers to refrain from any action than to suffer later because of his stupidity. The mind develops with the study of wisdom. If a person controls his mind, he will become happy.

Mind cleansing

Since the sense organs and the senses themselves are connected with the mind, the mind can be polluted through these senses, or it can be purified.

For example, through hearing, the mind can be polluted when a person hears scolding, unpleasant sounds, obscene speech, gossip, terrible news, and all sorts of nonsense. And through hearing, the mind can be purified - when a person listens to the sublime, beautiful classical or spiritual music, the speeches of sages or real spiritual teachers, prayers, mantras, bells, sounds of nature, etc.

Pollution through the sense of taste occurs when a person eats unclean food (in any sense of the word), with this he pollutes his mind. Spoiled food, tasteless, ugly, food in an unclean place, disgusting in taste, cooked by a bad person, food containing the energy of violence (killed animals, as well as fish, eggs) and some other types of food - all these pollute the mind. You can purify the mind with fresh, properly cooked, delicious, beautiful food, sanctified, prepared with love.
Vision. The mind can be polluted through sight, for example, when a person contemplates something bad, unpleasant to the eye, unreasonable, ignorant. And in the same way, the mind can be purified through sight - by contemplating the beautiful, for example, beautiful nature, works of art, as well as churches, icons, etc.

The same goes for smell and other senses.

In addition, when thinking about a particular person, we mentally connect with him (at the level of the mind). If he is a bad person and we think badly of him, our mind becomes polluted with the bad qualities that this person has. If a person is good, and we think well of him, our mind is purified by adopting his positive qualities.
The mind needs to be cleansed constantly, just like every day we brush our teeth and my body. If the mind becomes more polluted than purified, life becomes worse for a person, and vice versa.

The mind must be the instrument and the mind the master; when the mind takes over, problems begin.

By purposefully clearing the mind, and doing it intelligently, and also not allowing the mind to be polluted once again, a person gradually becomes happier.
