3. Plotting the function y = |f(|x|)|

Note that functions of the form y = |f(|x|)| are also even. Indeed, y(-x) = y = |f(|-x|)| = y = |f(|x|)| = y(x), and therefore, their graphs are symmetrical about the 0y axis.
